A visit to the Caldecott honor winning couple’s art studio and home reveals a lifetime of travel, art, books, and adventure. Located in Brooklyn, Ted and Betsy’s brownstone is a testament to how world travel can inspire great stories. They also talk about their picture book Balarama: A Royal Elephant which is based on two trips Ted and Betsy made to India. This was a real treat to see the body of work amassed from a true creative partnership.
